# Anduril CBP 363M Sentry Tower Contract
On June 13, 2026, [[Anduril]] announced a $363 million contract from U.S. Customs and Border Protection ([[CBP]]) to supply more than 200 additional Extended Range Sentry Towers (XRST), expanding autonomous situational-awareness coverage across a larger portion of the Southwest border. The award more than doubles the autonomous-tower footprint CBP fields and builds on more than seven years of [[Anduril]]–[[CBP]] collaboration delivering and sustaining hundreds of the company's autonomous surveillance systems.
## Deal Mechanics
The Extended Range Sentry Tower is a solar-powered, AI-driven surveillance unit that uses Anduril's Lattice software to detect, identify, and track movement autonomously and relay alerts to CBP agents, extending sensor range well beyond the company's earlier fixed and relocatable towers. The contract covers procurement, deployment, and sustainment of the 200-plus new units along the Southwest border, deepening Anduril's position as a prime autonomous-surveillance vendor to the [[Department of Homeland Security]].
## Significance
This is a fresh nine-figure federal border-surveillance award to a defense-tech firm tracked closely here, landing directly inside the immigration-enforcement build-out.
**It is also best read as a first tranche, not a one-off.** A July 2026 GAO report (GAO-26-108118) documents DHS plans to nearly triple the border tower fleet from ~830 to **2,300 by 2034** at ~**$1B**, funded through the [[Big Beautiful Bill]] — and the bill's "certified autonomous" requirement effectively reserves that pipeline for Anduril. See [[CBP Integrated Surveillance Tower Expansion]]. It extends Anduril's 2026 run of major federal wins alongside the [[Anduril $20B Army Contract]], the [[Anduril Air Force Andromeda Contract]], and [[Anduril Golden Dome Participation]], and tightens the company's commercial entanglement with CBP and the broader DHS enforcement apparatus that also runs through [[ICE]]. For founder [[Palmer Luckey]] and Anduril's investors, it reinforces the surveillance-hardware revenue base underpinning the firm's $61B post–Series H valuation.
