# Movement Labs
**Movement Labs, LLC** is a political-technology firm with an address of record at 2045 W Grand Ave,
Chicago. It appears on this wiki as a payee on Democratic-side independent-expenditure filings, where
the disclosed purpose of its work is usually **text messaging** and digital advertising.
## Why it's on the map
Two notices filed a day apart in the closing week of the 2026 midterms are, so far, the only ones this
wiki has recorded in which **100% of the Schedule E lines were mirrored** — every dollar entered twice,
once supporting one candidate and once opposing another for the identical sum. Both name Movement Labs
as the sole payee.
| Committee | File | Received | Lines | Notice total | Mirrored |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| [[Building Together]] | 2044596 | 2026-10-30 | 142 | $1,716,689.46 | **100.00%** |
| [[Principled Patriots PAC]] | 2045186 | 2026-10-31 | 38 | $310,937.96 | **100.00%** |
That is an observation about **reporting**, not about the firm's work. The convention is explained at
[[Mirrored Support Oppose Reporting]]; it is a defensible way to fill in a form that asks a binary
question about an advertisement that affects both candidates in a race, every dollar is disclosed, and
the FEC's own totals are right. But because the two most extreme cases on this site's record share one
payee, it is worth recording that the practice may travel with a vendor's filing habits as much as with
a committee's.
## What this page still needs
The firm's founding, ownership and principals; its full client list; and whether the mirrored reporting
on these notices originates with the firm or with each committee's own compliance filer. None of that is
established here.
