# Kelsier Ventures Memecoin-launch operation run by [[Hayden Davis]] that played roles in the $MELANIA launch and was the principal operator behind the collapsed Argentine $LIBRA memecoin. In November 2025, Argentine courts froze an estimated **$100–120M** in wallets tied to Kelsier. ## Role in the $TRUMP Memecoin Universe Kelsier Ventures **partially handled the launch of $MELANIA** on January 19, 2025 — the First Lady's token that launched 48 hours after $TRUMP, cratering $TRUMP's price 45% on the announcement. Reporting by *DL News* (February 2025) established Davis's operational involvement before the $LIBRA scandal made him internationally notorious. This places Kelsier at a specific operational node in the memecoin universe: the technical/marketing execution layer that actual political-celebrity token launches route through. ## The $LIBRA Collapse (Argentina, Feb 2025) - **Feb 14, 2025:** $LIBRA ("Viva La Libertad") launches on Solana; President [[Javier Milei]] publicly endorses. - **Peak:** ~$4.5B market cap. - **Crash:** Milei withdraws the endorsement within hours; liquidity is drained ($107M pulled); token falls 90%+. - **Impact:** ~44,000 investors affected. - **Nov 2025:** Argentine judge freezes Kelsier assets (~$100–120M). - **Oct 2025:** Class action in U.S. federal court names Davis, Benjamin Chow ([[Meteora]]), and others. The allegation — that Kelsier operated a coordinated pump-and-dump using celebrity endorsements as a launching rocket — is the same pattern critics describe in the $TRUMP / $MELANIA launch sequence. ## Why It Matters Kelsier is the provable link showing that the same operators behind an *acknowledged fraud* (Argentine courts have frozen assets) also touched a Trump-family memecoin launch. This doesn't establish that $TRUMP itself is fraudulent, but it establishes that the operational ecosystem and personnel overlap with one that is under active criminal investigation in another jurisdiction. ## See Also - [[$TRUMP Memecoin Universe]] - [[$MELANIA Launch]] - [[Hayden Davis]] - [[Meteora]]
