# Frontier Services Group
**Frontier Services Group (FSG)** is a Hong Kong-listed security and logistics company that [[Erik Prince]] — Blackwater founder and prominent Trump ally — led from 2014 to 2021 while its largest shareholder was China's state-owned CITIC Group.
## Structure
FSG took its name in January 2014, renamed from DVN Holdings (Bermuda-registered, listed in Hong Kong). Its backers were CITIC Group and Hong Kong investor Johnson Ko; CNN reported CITIC's stake rose above 28% in March 2018 *[single-sourced]*. In May 2017 FSG bought 25% of the International Security Defense College in Beijing. Sources differ on Prince's exact title over time — chairman, later deputy chairman — but agree he resigned his board roles on April 13, 2021.
## Xinjiang
In January 2019 FSG announced an agreement to build a training base in the Caohu Industrial Park in Tumxuk, Xinjiang, run by the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps' Third Division. It then withdrew the announcement, saying it had been "published in error by a staff member in Beijing." Prince said he had "no knowledge or involvement."
## Entity List
In June 2023 the U.S. Commerce Department added FSG to its Entity List for training Chinese military pilots using Western and NATO sources.
## Prince since
Wikipedia records Prince pitching a privatized deportation plan to the administration in February 2025, a security deal with Ecuador's government in March 2025, and his firm Vectus Global conducting anti-gang operations in Haiti in January 2026.
## RWKB angle
The most prominent "America First" security contractor spent seven years running a Chinese state-backed firm serving the [[Belt and Road Initiative]] — and briefly, Xinjiang.
