# World Liberty Financial Dossier
Front door for the [[World Liberty Financial]] document collection. WLF is the first **crypto** company on the Tier 1 super-watch list. The canonical company record stays at [[World Liberty Financial]] in `/Companies/`; this folder (`/Companies/Docs/World Liberty Financial/`) holds the deeper material.
**Why Tier 1:** WLF is the most-linked crypto company in the vault, and it is the only one owned in part by a sitting president. It now spans three layers: a governance token (WLFI), a stablecoin ([[USD1]], about $4.2 billion in circulation), and a conditionally chartered **national trust bank**, World Liberty Trust Company, N.A. A foreign national-security official's vehicle owns 49% of the company and 49% of the bank's holding company. Every layer is a place where a policy decision can turn into family income.
**Boundary rule:** documents internal to the company live here: its people, its ownership, its token and stablecoin ledgers and its regulatory file. Cross-cutting records keep their canonical homes and are **linked**: deals in `/Deals/`, events in `/Events/`, the family-wide extraction picture in [[Trump Crypto Ventures]].
**Lane rule:** what the **company** did (token sales and unlocks, USD1 supply and reserves, the trust-bank charter steps, governance votes, partnerships, lawsuits by or against WLF) goes in the [[World Liberty Financial Watch Log]], swept on Mondays. What a **Trump, a Witkoff or a government** did about it (ethics fights, congressional probes, the envoy overlap, political statements) goes in the [[World Liberty Financial News Log]], swept on Tuesdays. The Witkoff sons' personal conduct stays in the [[Witkoff Sons News Log]].
> **Disclosure note:** WLF is private and files nothing with the SEC. Its most reliable public surfaces are **on-chain data**, **monthly USD1 reserve attestations** (KPMG, via BitGo), **the president's annual OGE financial disclosure**, and **OCC charter documents**. Those are the backbone of this dossier.
