# Anduril Contracts
Government-contract ledger for [[Anduril]]. As a private company, Anduril's two highest-signal surfaces are **funding rounds** ([[Anduril Investors]]) and **contracts** (here). Contract records belong canonically in `/Deals/`; this page is the consolidated index that links to them.
## U.S. contracts (canonical records in /Deals/)
> [!important] Read the two tables separately
> A **ceiling** is the most a vehicle *could* pay out over its life. An **obligation** is money actually awarded. Mixing them inflates the apparent size of the book by more than an order of magnitude — Anduril's obligated U.S. rows below total well under $500M, while its ceilings and approvals run past $40B. The tables were split on **2026-09-27**; before that every row sat in one table headed "contracts."
### Obligated / awarded — real money, with a value and a date
| Program / contract | Customer | Obligated value | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| [[Anduril CBP 363M Sentry Tower Contract]] | CBP / DHS | **$363M** | [[Anduril Sentry Tower]] border surveillance |
| [[Anduril Altius]] — Taiwan 2026 contract | Taiwan Ministry of National Defense | **NT$26.9B (~US$847M)** | Signed **2026-08-27**; 1,554 Altius-700M + 478 Altius-600ISR plus launchers. First deliveries Q4 2026, completion June 2033. A signed contract with a delivery schedule — see [[Taiwan Anduril Altius Drone Contract]] |
| [[Palantir TITAN]] — production hardware sub | U.S. Army (ACC), via Palantir USG prime | **$65M** | Awarded 2026-08-31: ruggedized vehicle-mounted enclosures + power/thermal/control/operator subsystems for 8 TITAN systems over 18 months; combined award $192M. ⏰ **Award ID still pending on USASpending** |
| [[Anduril Air Force CCA Production Contract]] | U.S. Air Force | undisclosed | FQ-44A [[Anduril Fury]] into production; [[Collaborative Combat Aircraft]] |
| [[Anduril Air Force Andromeda Contract]] | U.S. Air Force | undisclosed | See deal page |
### Ceilings, approvals, vehicles and participations — **not** obligations
| Instrument | Customer | Headline figure | What the figure actually is |
|---|---|---|---|
| [[Anduril $20B Army Contract]] | U.S. Army | up to **$20B** | **Ten-year enterprise-agreement ceiling**, not an award. [[Anduril Lattice]]. Signed under Army Secretary [[Dan Driscoll]], who resigned 2026-08-31 |
| **Soldier Borne Mission Command (SBMC, formerly IVAS)** | U.S. Army | ~**$22B** | **Program ceiling**, reassigned from [[Microsoft]] to Anduril in February 2025 — a landmark transfer of a marquee program to a defense-tech upstart, but a ceiling all the same |
| [[Anduril Kuwait Counter-UAS FMS Approval]] | Kuwait, via U.S. State Dept | ~**$1.98B** | **FMS approval ceiling** (June 2026) for Roadrunner/Anvil c-UAS + Sentry towers + Lattice. An approval is permission to negotiate, not a signed contract |
| [[Anduril DHS Counter-UAS IDIQ]] | DHS (S&T Directorate) | **$489M** Track 2 ceiling, shared 7 ways; **$1.011B** Track 1 | **Both tracks now held.** Anduril protested its exclusion from the Track 1 hardware track on 2026-08-12; **GAO dismissed the protest roughly three weeks later because DHS took corrective action**, and DHS added Anduril to Track 1 on **2026-09-16**. Anduril, BAE Systems' U.S. subsidiary and [[Leidos]] are the only three firms on both tracks. **A seat on a shared-ceiling vehicle is a position, not an obligation** — it is worth what it wins off it |
| [[Anduril Golden Dome Participation]] | DoD / MDA | — | Architecture **participation**, no disclosed value |
| [[Anduril Indo-Pacific Partnership Push]] | allied (Indo-Pacific) | — | Regional expansion posture, no disclosed value |
| [[Anduril MASC Autonomous Warship Program]] | U.S. Navy | — | ⚠️ **The program was cancelled in March 2026** and replaced by the MUSV marketplace, from which Anduril was omitted; the Foss Shipyard hub in Seattle has been vacated. A 60m, 500-plus-tonne ASV with [[HD Hyundai Heavy Industries]] and Edison Chouest Offshore is due in the water in **October 2026**, with Anduril taking ownership for U.S.-coast testing by end of 2026 — outside the competition it was built for |
## International programs
- **[[Anduril Ghost Shark]]** — A$1.7B extra-large AUV program for Australia; an AUKUS cornerstone.
- **[[Anduril Barracuda]]** — cruise-missile MoU with Poland; production targeting 5,000/year. In July 2026 this matured into a named plant and partner: **Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ)** and Anduril announced a localized line for the **Surface-Launched Barracuda-500M** in **Bydgoszcz**, expected to deliver several thousand cruise missiles to the Polish Armed Forces — Anduril's first European production footprint. Announced, not a signed order.
- **[[Anduril Altius]]** — loitering munitions sold to Taiwan and Ukraine (via UK); **failed in Ukraine combat** against Russian EW, and an **Anduril Dive-LD** UUV malfunctioned and was recovered by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz on 2026-09-08 — the two public product setbacks worth tracking together. The Taiwan 2026 contract (~US$847M) is in the obligated table above; the 291-unit 2024 FMS case is delivered and complete.
- **[[Anduril Kuwait Counter-UAS FMS Approval]]** — see the ceilings table above; an approval, not a signed contract.
- **[[Anduril Nissan Oppama Plant Acquisition Talks]]** — 2026 talks to buy [[Nissan]]'s shuttered Oppama plant in Japan for drone production; unsigned, and contingent on a Japanese MoD order. Manufacturing-footprint play, not a contract.
## Monitoring sources (for the watch sweep)
- **USASpending.gov / SAM.gov / FPDS** — federal obligations and solicitations.
- **Service press** (Breaking Defense, DefenseScoop, Aviation Week) for program awards and milestones.
- **Allied procurement** (Australia DoD, Polish MoD, MoD UK) for international deals.
- Note: as a prime increasingly displacing legacy primes, watch for **protests/recompetes** when Anduril wins (e.g., the SBMC reassignment) — **and now also when it loses.** The vehicle's first live dispute ran the other direction: Anduril filed a [[Bid Protest]] on 2026-08-12 over its exclusion from the [[Anduril DHS Counter-UAS IDIQ]] hardware track. **It never reached a decision** — GAO dismissed it after DHS took corrective action, and DHS added Anduril to Track 1 on 2026-09-16. The **Nov 20, 2026** GAO deadline this page previously flagged is therefore moot.
- **Competitive vehicles Anduril is positioned for but absent from** — the pattern the [[Anduril Watch Log]] tracks is that Anduril wins where a customer or prime names it and is absent or unplaced in structured commercial competition. Vehicles to check each sweep: the Navy's **MUSV marketplace** (omitted from the seven selected); **JIATF-401's** December directed-energy shoot-off at **Dugway Proving Ground, Utah** (no directed-energy product); and the Army's **Rapid Electromagnetic Warfare and Signals Intelligence (REWSI)** call for solutions, whose first two production awards on 2026-09-11 went to Heaviside Industries ($99M) and Research Innovations Inc. ($96.9M) with Anduril in neither.
## Open questions to track
- Total federal obligations trend (USASpending recipient profile).
- Arsenal-1 production throughput vs. contracted quantities (delivery risk).
- New program wins at the expense of legacy primes; any bid protests.
- **How does Anduril perform in full-and-open competition, as opposed to sole-source and named-product awards?** Most of this ledger records the latter. The DHS c-UAS result (Aug 2026) is the cleanest competed data point so far, and Anduril lost the hardware half of it.
