# Daedalus Aviation **Daedalus Aviation Corporation** is a Virginia aviation company chaired by [[William Walters]]. It had no federal contracts before 2025. Under [[Kristi Noem]], DHS gave it a no-bid contract to supply aircraft for deportation flights and official travel. Daedalus bought planes and resold them to the government at a markup. On Noem's last morning in office, DHS bought five jets from it for about $304 million, bringing the contract to roughly $464 million for ten aircraft. See [[DHS Daedalus Jet Purchases]].
