# Civix **Civix** is the government-technology vendor whose **Clarity Elections** product is the election-night reporting (ENR) web application that a large share of American counties publish their unofficial results through. Its platform also covers broader election management and campaign-finance disclosure systems for state offices. Civix is load-bearing in this vault for an unglamorous reason: the page a voter reads on election night as "the official county results" is, very often, a Civix web application rendering a file the county exported from its [[Election Management System]], served from a vendor hostname rather than the county's own domain. It is a convenience publication with no legal status. See [[How Election Results Are Transmitted and Reported]], stage 5. The company claims its election-management platform is used by more states than any other and publishes no figure; no reliable public count of jurisdictions by ENR vendor was located for the 2026-10-02 build. This is a stub — created in the 2026-10-02 ASCII map build. Expand with ownership and private-equity history, the Scytl competitive picture, contract values, the jurisdiction count if it can be sourced, and any documented election-night outages. ## See Also - [[How Election Results Are Transmitted and Reported]] · [[Election Management System]] - [[How a Voting System Is Certified and Decertified]] - [[State Election Administration Tree]]
