# ChapsVision French data-processing and AI company founded in 2019 by Olivier Dellenbach — a serial software founder who previously built and sold the private-equity software firm eFront (sold April 2019 for more than $1.5B). Headquartered in Suresnes outside Paris, ChapsVision assembled its stack largely by acquisition (roughly two dozen deals) around **Argonos**, a data collection, preparation, processing and analysis platform aimed at government and large-enterprise customers. Backers include Qualium Investissement, Tikehau Capital, and the French state investment bank Bpifrance; the company joined the French Tech Next40 cohort in 2024. Its commercial pitch is the mirror image of [[Palantir]]'s: sovereign AI for administrations that cannot put sensitive data on foreign-owned infrastructure subject to U.S. law. That positioning turned it into the named beneficiary of Europe's 2026 procurement backlash — France's DGSI announced in June 2026 that it would replace Palantir with ChapsVision (see [[France DGSI ChapsVision Replacement]]), and Bloomberg reported in July 2026 that a German intelligence service had made the same choice. > Status: stub — expand with the acquisition roll-up history, the Argonos product line, funding rounds, and any further European intelligence-service wins. ## See Also - [[France DGSI ChapsVision Replacement]] - [[Palantir]] - [[Purge Palantir]]
