# CSI Aviation
The prime contractor of ICE Air — the charter broker through which nearly every deportation flight flows. Founded 1979 by Allen Weh, a retired Marine colonel and career Republican operative (New Mexico GOP chair 2004–08, 2014 US Senate nominee), CSI began as a college-sports charter broker and became the deportation economy's air-traffic controller: its ICE-related revenue more than tripled under Trump's second term, from ~$364M in FY2024 to over $1.1B in FY2025, atop $1.6B+ in cumulative ICE contracts — including no-bid awards of up to $128M (July 2023, again 2025) and up to $219M (2025). It brokers the flights to subcarriers: [[GlobalX]] (the workhorse, including the March 2025 Alien Enemies Act flights to El Salvador's CECOT — see [[Kilmar Abrego Garcia CECOT]]) and, briefly, Avelo Airlines before its boycott-driven exit.
The political circuit is unusually clean: Weh and his family gave ~$840,000 to Trump-aligned PACs, CSI hosted an October 2024 Trump rally in its Albuquerque hangar, and the no-bid contracts followed. House Homeland Security Democrats demanded answers in May 2025 about flight conditions, including detainees kept shackled for up to ~50 hours. CSI acquired regional carrier Air Wisconsin in 2026, deepening its fleet access.
