# Akolytos
**Akolytos LLC** is a Florida limited liability company managed by [[Doug Logan]]. It was incorporated on **March 22, 2021**, nine days before the Arizona Senate announced that Logan's other firm, [[Cyber Ninjas]], would run its review of Maricopa County's 2020 vote. The name is Greek for "unhindered." The two companies shared a principal address in St. Petersburg and a Sarasota mailing address at a UPS store.
The company matters because of when it was used. In January 2022, facing $50,000-a-day contempt fines for refusing to release the review's records, Cyber Ninjas announced it was shutting down. At a deposition later that month, Logan said it was selling off its assets and moving materials to Akolytos. The AP reported that he had texted Senate President [[Karen Fann]] about starting a new company with the same employees, because negative publicity made Cyber Ninjas unsellable. Logan told the AP he was not trying to avoid the fines.
Logan has not said publicly what work Akolytos does. As of October 2026 Florida's registry lists it as **active** (doc. L21000134064), with Logan as manager and annual reports filed every year from 2022 through February 27, 2026. Cyber Ninjas Inc., the company it was set up beside, is also still active, so the expected handoff from a bankrupt firm to a successor never shows up in the public record.
