# Companies Watchlist Hub
The control panel for **active, OSINT-level monitoring** of a small set of core companies. Most of the ~300 pages in `/Companies/` are reference records. A handful warrant continuous deep coverage — earnings, contracts, litigation, leadership moves, leaked material. Those are "super-watch" companies, and they live here.
## How elevation works
A company is elevated by **three coordinated signals**, not by folder placement:
1. **Frontmatter flag** — `watch_tier: 1` on the company page in `/Companies/`. This is the single source of truth; the live dashboard is `Companies/Companies Watchlist.base`, and any search on this field surfaces the same list.
2. **Dossier folder** — `/Companies/Docs/<Company>/` holding the satellite documents, fronted by a `<Company> Dossier` MOC. The company page itself stays type-pure in `/Companies/`.
3. **Watch Log** — a `<Company> Watch Log` for the dated intelligence feed, updated on a regular schedule.
To elevate a new company: add the flag, create the dossier folder + MOC, start a watch log, add a row below. To demote: drop the flag and archive the log.
## Tiers
- **Tier 1 — super-watch:** full dossier folder, watch log, scheduled sweep. Deep collection.
- **Tier 2 — active watch:** company page kept current by hand; no dossier folder yet. Staging area for promotion.
- **(Unlisted):** standard reference page in `/Companies/`.
## Tier 1 — super-watch
| Company | Dossier | Watch Log | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| [[Palantir]] | [[Palantir Dossier]] | [[Palantir Watch Log]] | Pilot. Public; govt-contract + surveillance focus |
| [[Anduril]] | [[Anduril Dossier]] | [[Anduril Watch Log]] | Private; funding rounds + contracts are the surface; IPO watch |
| [[SpaceX]] | [[SpaceX Dossier]] | [[SpaceX Watch Log]] | Newly public (SPCX, Jun 2026); conglomerate + Musk political overlay |
| [[Erebor]] | [[Erebor Dossier]] | [[Erebor Watch Log]] | **First finance-sector Tier 1** (promoted 2026-10-07). National bank co-founded by Thiel protégés [[Palmer Luckey]] and [[Joe Lonsdale]]; the network's money layer. Private, but files quarterly call reports ([[Erebor Call Reports]]); a [[Erebor Loan Book]] takes the place of a Contracts page |
| [[World Liberty Financial]] | [[World Liberty Financial Dossier]] | [[World Liberty Financial Watch Log]] | **First crypto Tier 1** (promoted 2026-10-08). Trump family ~38% equity plus 75% of token-sale revenue; Tahnoon's Aryam 49%; [[USD1]] stablecoin; conditionally chartered trust bank. Token and USD1 ledgers replace a Contracts page. Regulator context: [[OCC Charter Wave]] |
## Tier 2 — active watch
Flagged `watch_tier: 2` on the company page. No dossier folder or dedicated sweep yet; news lands in the existing logs listed below, and the company page is refreshed by hand from them.
| Company | Where news lands today | Added | Watch for |
|---|---|---|---|
| [[The Witkoff Group]] | [[Witkoff Sons News Log]] · [[Steve Witkoff News Log]] · [[Watching]] | 2026-10-07 | Counterparties in jurisdictions the envoy negotiates with (Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Israel); revival of the ~$4B sovereign-fund credit pitch under another name; the unnamed buyer of the $120M stake; congressional or IG document requests naming the firm; new Gulf-sourced capital in its projects |
Erebor was added here on 2026-10-07 and promoted to Tier 1 the same evening.
Lane rule for Witkoff: the firm has no separate log by design — what [[Alex Witkoff]] does as its CEO goes to the [[Witkoff Sons News Log]], what [[Steve Witkoff]] does as envoy goes to his own log. The Tier 2 row is the firm-level index across both.
## Candidate pipeline (Tier 2 → promote)
Companies flagged for likely elevation as the system scales:
- [[Amazon]] — AWS GovCloud, defense AI, [[Palantir-Anthropic-Amazon Defense AI Deal]]
- [[Anthropic]] — defense-AI deals; [[Palantir-Anthropic-Amazon Defense AI Deal]]
## Standard for dossier pages
Each Tier 1 company should carry, at minimum: a Dossier MOC, Leadership, Investors, Watch Log, and Contracts page (for government-facing firms). See [[Palantir Dossier]] as the reference implementation.
