# 2026 Stump Speeches Hub
Collection point for the more interesting and/or high-profile stump speeches of the 2026 cycle. One page per speech (files live in `Speeches/`), each with verified verbatim quote receipts, venue/date, and context. The goal is a rhetoric ledger: what each side is actually saying on the trail, anchored to primary sources, so messaging shifts can be tracked across the cycle.
**What qualifies**: campaign-season speeches that reveal messaging strategy, mark an escalation, or become reference points — convention addresses, rally speeches, notable candidate launches. Individual detachable quotes can also get standalone receipts in `/Quotes/`; the speech page is the container that preserves full context.

> [!note] Same-day split screen
> Both inaugural entries were delivered on **June 26, 2026** — Trump reviving Red Scare rhetoric at the Faith & Freedom Coalition in Washington while Talarico invoked Barbara Jordan in Corpus Christi. A useful paired snapshot of the two parties' midterm registers.

- Convention keynotes and acceptance speeches in marquee races ([[TX-Sen-2026]], [[ME-Sen-2026]], [[MI-Sen-2026]])
